"Worked for a bit, then just quit"
I was frustrated with this. The receiver worked fine for the first few months, and it was charged, so that wasn’t the issue, but then it just stopped working out of nowhere. No warning, no real change, just dead. Definitely annoying for something I expected to last longer.

"Feels cheap!!!"
I really wanted to like this, but it just feels cheaply made!!! The buttons are kind of loose, and after only about a week the case already started creaking!!! Not impressed at all!!!

"Wow, What a Letdown"
I bought this from onkyousa.com thinking I’d get some solid sound, or at least something that didn’t make me question my life choices. Instead, it sounds flat and muddy, with voices that somehow manage to be both present and impossible to understand. Impressive, really.
I messed with the settings, swapped cables, and did the whole “maybe it’s me” routine, but nope, it still sounds cheap. The bass isn’t deep, it’s just boomy in that very special way that makes everything worse. For the price, I expected a lot more. Definitely not happy with it.

"Kept noticing the same Bluetooth dropouts"
I picked this up for my setup, but after using it for a bit I started seeing a clear pattern: the Bluetooth would randomly drop, especially when I was trying to watch something for more than a few minutes. It also didn’t play very nicely with my older TV, which made the whole thing more frustrating than I expected. I really wanted it to work, but the connection issues got old fast

"Setup was okay, but not as smooth as I hoped"
I ordered mine from Onkyo, and when it arrived I figured setup would be quick. The basic parts weren’t too bad, but I definitely spent more time on it than I expected. Some steps made sense right away, while others had me poking around and guessing a little, especially when I got to the app and network settings.
After I finally got everything connected, using it day to day has been mostly fine. The sound is really good, which is the main reason I’m not too bothered, but the menus could be easier to navigate. I’ve already had to restart it once, so overall I’m happy with how it performs, but I do wish the setup and usability felt a bit more polished.

"Delivery was late and the updates were confusing"
I ordered a receiver and it did show up in good shape, so that part was fine. The annoying thing was the shipping took a few extra days and the tracking barely moved the whole time. I also wasn’t really sure what I was supposed to do next or if I should contact someone, because the updates weren’t clear at all. Not the worst experience, but definitely frustrating.

I reached out to Onkyo support twice about my receiver and expected some kind of real help based on the way they make support sound on their site. But days went by with either no reply or nothing useful. It’s really frustrating when the wording makes it seem like you’ll actually get assistance, and then you’re just left waiting.

"Good sound, just not the best value"
I bought this from onkyousa.com, the product itself is solid. The sound is good, setup was fairly easy, and overall, I don’t really have any major complaints about how it works.
That said, for the price, I was kind of expecting a little more. Shipping was fine, the price felt average, and I’ve definitely seen similar options, for less, elsewhere. It’s not a bad buy, just, not an amazing deal either.

"They did end up fixing it , so..."
They did end up fixing it , so I can’t complain too much . The only downside was that the wait felt longer than I was hoping for , which got a little frustrating .
